Kaan & Associates’ salvation may be in plain sight: Mary McCormack will guest-star as a white knight investor in House of Lies‘ upcoming fourth season, TVLine has learned exclusively.

McCormack’s Denna Altshuler is described as tough and highly successful. Marty will bring her in to help rescue his troubled business.

In addition to leading In Plain Sight for five seasons, McCormack starred in the short-lived Welcome to the Family and appeared in a recent episode of Scandal.

'Mortal Instruments' And 'Resident Evil' Headed To TV

Mortal Instruments and Resident Evil are getting TV series spin-offs. According to Constantin executive board chairman Martin Moszkowicz, the company is increasing their TV activities internationally, and said properties are set to move into television.

Moszkowicz also mentioned that the company started to develop various international TV drama series a couple of years ago.

"Constantin has a lot of feature film brands and we are moving them into television. For instance, we own the rights to the book series The Mortal Instruments, and we just hired a showrunner in Los Angeles, and our offices in Los Angeles and Canada are starting production next year on at least two or three international shows."

The Resident Evil TV series will come into play after the next feature film, and Perfume. Ed Decter (Unforgettable, The Client List, In Plain Sight) has been attached to the Mortal Instruments series.

Cannes — Leading German production house Constantin Film is stepping up its TV series business with TV series spin-offs of the “Mortal Instruments” and “Resident Evil” movies.

Constantin exec board chairman Martin Moszkowicz confirmed the news at a launch for another Constantin high-end TV series, “Shades of Guilt,” at Mipcom TV market in Cannes Sunday.

Constantin has been involved in TV production for many years, and half of its activities is in TV, Moszkowicz said, but the company’s strategic goal was to shift more toward television. “We are increasing our TV activities substantially both in Germany and internationally,” he said. Fiction series would be the focus of the growth, he added.

He said that around two years ago the company had started to develop various international TV drama series, some of them English-language. “We are moving rapidly,” Moszkowicz said.

Sarah Goldberg, who played Sarah Glass Camden on 7th Heaven, died in her sleep last month. She was 40.

'7th Heaven' Actress Dies

Goldberg passed away in her sleep at her family’s cabin in Wisconsin Sept. 27. "She went to sleep and didn't wake up," the actress’s mother Judy Goldberg told the Chicago Sun-Times. It is suspected that a heart ailment is to blame.

Goldberg got the acting bug while working as an extra during the wedding scene in 1997 Julia Roberts vehicle My Best Friends Wedding, which filmed near her family home in Chicago. Up until that point, Goldberg, who’d earned a microbiology degree from Amherst College, planned on becoming a doctor. After she was discovered, she ditched those plans to move to Hollywood, where she soon found success.

After a few small parts in TV and film, Goldberg landed a role on 7th Heaven as eldest son Barry’s love interest. »

Actress Sarah Goldberg, best known for playing Sarah Glass Camden on 7th Heaven, died Saturday, September 27 in her family's Wisconsin home. She was 40.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, she died of natural causes, but an autopsy was not able to determine a specific cause of death. Her mother, Judy, told the newspaper that a heart ailment may have been responsible.
