Spanish short has won countless awards from horror festival across the world. A social worker gets a phone call claiming a young boy is the victim of child abuse so she starts to investigate, which eventually leads her to the kid's house. I won't ruin the surprises for you but there are two plot twists that come out of no where and are handled very well. Director Alcalde does a great job at telling this story in just 14-minutes and he's got a certain style that keeps the film moving very well. There's some blood shed but the real bonus here is the atmosphere, which manages to be quite chilling during several scenes. The film also features some fine performances and all of this adds up to a very effective horror film that fans should certainly seek out.
