Jack and Doyle discover the true source of CTU's security leak: an autistic savant hacker named Brady who's following his brother's orders. Sandra Palmer agrees to bring President Wayne Palmer out of his coma in an effort to stop the nuclear retaliation against Fayed's country. Jack uses Brady in a sting hoping to capture Gredenko. Written by Derfel85
Jack, through CTU intel, finds and captures Gredenko, who negotiates a deal with CTU. To thwart the Daniels's plans to bomb Fayed's country, Karen and Sandra awaken Wayne from his chemically-induced coma in hopes that he will rescind the order to strike before the missile launches.
In summary, here the events that happened during that hour:
1.Dmitri Gredenko contacts Mark Hauser seeking the new security protocols for Edgemore Nuclear Power Plant.
2.Jack Bauer invades Hauser's home and captures him. He uses Hauser's autistic brother Brady to set a trap for Gredenko. Once captured, Gredenko agrees to give up Abu Fayed in exchange for amnesty from the United States government and a promise he will not be sent back to Russia.
3.At the Counter Terrorist Unit, Nadia Yassir is being processed as an enemy combatant and Milo Pressman doubts her guilt. Mike Doyle turns in the evidence Nadia's innocence, and Bill Buchanan releases her.
4.Vice President Noah Daniels commands Admiral John Smith to proceed with the nuclear strike. Karen Hayes and Sandra Palmer have President Wayne Palmer taken out of his coma in order to put a stop to the missile launch. Daniels receives a call from a now-conscious Wayne, informing him he called it off and is resuming his duties as Commander-in-Chief. Daniels announces his intent to remove Wayne from power.
Just like what I said in the previous review, you know that Gredenko is going down.Jack captured him in this episode.A weak villain indeed.
While at CTU,another mistaken mole in Nadia Yassir is proved innocent.Another element taken from Day 5.
And then,we have Sarah and Wayne Palmer.New characters but they are less interesting and less compelling as compared to the likes of President David Palmer,Tony Almeida and Michelle Dressler.
Day 6 continues to disappoint.
