The Big Stink!
5 October 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

***SPOILERS*** While on a fishing trip in upstate New York private investigator Mike Barnett gets involved in a shakedown operation against Vic's roadside diner that was the victim of a stink bomb attack that caused the customers to run for their lives and seek medical attention. with Barnett sniffing around the place he finds out that Vic's food especially his eggs have been contaminated with foul smelling chemicals inserted into them. That when broken open to be fired or scrambled they give off a horrible smell or stink that can makes even a skunks powerful smell glands seem non offensive!

It's later that a bomb, not stink bomb, is planted in Vic's diner that Barnett notices and has the place evacuated before he goes off but he finally finds out who's responsible for all this damage to the diner. It turns out to be George the bread delivery man who's blackmailing Vic for more bread or cash, as much as $2000.00, to stop from blowing as well as stinking up his place and even kidnapping and murdering his daughter Betty.

***SPOILERS*** With Barnett and Vic's daughter Betty setting up a trap for George he makes the mistake in underestimating Barnett's ability to trap him and even more his cat like lighting quick reflexes that has him not only caught red handed but disabled, of his gun, by Barnett when he tried at gun point to shove him off a 100 foot cliff to his death! With all this now over Barnett besides going back fishing is treated to a free scrambled eggs home fried potatoes and bacon breakfast courtesy of Vic and a big kiss from Betty.
