Shins List on Satuday Night Live and Other Shows is Incomplete
8 June 2007 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

The band The Shins consists of 5 members. James Mercer is the leader of the band, composes all the songs and does the lead singing, but is not listed in the cast listing for the Saturday Night Live show. Among the other band members, Marty Crandall, Jesse Sandoval and Dave Hernandez are listed but not Eric Johnson, the newest member of the band. In addition, IMDb fails list a number of TV shows The Shins appeared on. Their first appearance was on Late Night With Zach (not to be confused with Zach Braf). They appeared on one of the last shows Zach made. Soon after their appearance (but hopefully not because of their appearance)the Zach Show was cancelled.

Also, the listing for Letterman's Show has them only appearing in January of 2007, but in fact they first appeared on the Late Show over two years ago. Also, no credit is given to their appearances on Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O'Brien and Carson Daly.
