I have no idea why this film currently has such an incredibly low rating on IMDB--3.2. This would seem to indicate that this short film is terrible--which is certainly not the case. This DVD extra was included with "Walt Disney Treasures: More Silly Symphonies" and gives a very general overview of the series--the history, the art, how it influenced later films, etc.. None of the information on "Silly Symphonies Rediscovered" came as a huge surprise, but to folks who buy the set, it's a wonderful overview and would perhaps best be seen before you watch the accompanying shorts. It is informative, well-constructed and worth your time. My only quibble is the very short length. At under 15 minutes, it just felt like too little--and I would have loved a more in-depth discussion on the shorts in the series.
