I remember watching this show when I was a kid, and its the weirdest show I've ever watched. It follows the adventures of Toby Goodwin, as he travels all over the world to fight off villains.
Out of all the Canadian shows to date, this is the one not a lot of people talk about. It was forgotten after it ended, and when I was a teenager, I completely forgot this show existed until 2014 or 2015.
What throws me off the most about the show is how Toby and Bob travel. They put on these cool looking suits, they get into a sphere pod, some workers fill it up with water while they put on some oxygen tubes on, and they are blast away.
It appears this show is such a low-key development and I couldn't find any more about it anywhere. Hell, I have to look up for some videos of The Boy until February 2017. Its almost if The Boy barely even happened.
When I was watching this show in my childhood, it doesn't give me nightmares and I find okay. The characters are alright, the background music is boring, and the animation and voice acting are really good. However the most significant thing about the show is that is made by Tooncan Productions, the guys who made Charley and Mimmo.
If you are interested in this show, I recommended you find this show on YouTube because copies of the show are extremely hard to find, because how forgotten this show is. But like I said, its a forgettable, but a perfectly OK show.
