Storyline

Drama is intensified as the Iga Clan tries to outsmart their opponents by attacking both Kazamachi Shôgen, who has the Kouga copy of the scroll that talks about the Ninja war both clans are into, and Jubei Shimushi, who travels mysteriously through the forest and is attacked by the Igas in search of information. Meanwhile, while they are nervous, Gennosuke and Oboro still ignore most the information that the Igas (except for Oboro, of course) already have. Written by IMDb Plot Summary by David del Real.

A good episode to show to someone new to the series
4 October 2017 | by (Ciudad de México, México) – See all my reviews

Note: Most of my reviews contain spoilers but I try that none of them can actually spoil any important surprise in the story, so you can read without worrying.

In this episode we get to know Gennosuke and Oboro a little better and have a little glance of other characters and couples in the series (as Hotarubi and Yashamaru) but I think that this is the first episode that we could call "a typical episode" of this series. It shows us pretty much how the rest of the series will be, there will be a little bit of romance, a little bit of mystery, horror, comedy(just a little, little bit)... but foremost there are interesting combats both one-on-one and many-against-one between the Kouga and the Iga Ninja and a lot of struggle between these two opposite factions trying to defeat each other.

I think this is the episode to recommend to someone completely new to the series to show him what the story is about.

Thanks for reading
