Filming the Horror (2006)

*** (out of 4)

Director Mary Lambert, author Douglas E. Winter and cast members Brad Greenquist and Dale Midkiff discussing the filming of PET SEMATARY in this 10-minute featurette. Lambert talks about her original thoughts when she got the screenplay and how she had to impress Stephen King before she'd be given the job. Winter adds some very good touches about differences between the film and the book. The actors then chime in about various scenes in the movie including the ending where Midkiff talks about the difficulties of filming with a young child. Overall this here is a pretty entertaining featurette that fans of the film should enjoy. There are some nice stories told and there's no doubt that everyone is very happy with how the film turned out.
