Eric Bischoff challenged Vince McMahon to show up at the PPV to fight him, offering security escorts and his own private dressing room, but Vince McMahon sent a letter through his attorney proclaiming he would not be there. In spite of this, Bischoff held the "match" anyways, and (along with the pro-WCW crowd) counted McMahon out.
