All Eight Harry Potter Films To Stream Via HBO From January 1st

Take heed, Potterheads: For the very first time, all eight Harry Potter movies will be available to stream on the same platform (HBO) from January 1st.

That’s right, the house of Westworld and Game of Thrones is kicking off 2018 with the definitive Potter movie marathon, spanning Sorcerer’s Stone to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

It all begins with the former on January 2nd, with a new instalment set to air each day at 8 pm Et/Pt right up until the advent of Fantastic Beasts on Wednesday, January 10th, which is rather fitting given how 2018 will herald David Yates’ magical sequel – one which primarily takes place in the city of Paris.

All nine movies will also be available to stream instantaneously via HBO On Demand, HBO Now and HBO Go, so there is perhaps no better time to sign up for HBO’s premium service and binge to your heart’s content.

This Theory Explains Why It Was So (Weirdly) Easy For Harry Potter to Break the Elder Wand

  • BuzzSugar
Image Source: Everett Collection The Wand, the Stone, or the Cloak? If you've ever lost sleep over what you'd choose or hotly debated the topic of which magical item is the best, then you're a true Harry Potter fan. The Deathly Hallows are the source of mystery and extreme significance in the series, with each representing a special power: the Resurrection Stone gives the bearer the ability to bring those who have passed on back into the living world, the Cloak of Invisibility is an item that never loses power and strength over the centuries, and the Elder Wand is the most powerful wand in existence. As the legend goes, anyone who wields all three Hallows at once will be the master of Death. As luck (if you can call it that . . .) would have it, Harry Potter finds himself in that position. At the end of the Harry Potter and

Harry Potter's Childhood Home Goes Up for Sale
If you're a huge Harry Potter fan and have been looking for a new place to live, you might be in luck. That is, assuming you have roughly $1.3 million lying around to spare. The Potter cottage in Godric's Hollow, as seen in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, is currently on the market. But the house isn't cheap, so the lucky fan of the wizarding world who manages to purchase this home is going to be one with a lot of money.

The Potter house is a 14th-century cottage in the medieval village of Lavenham, England, just north of London. The home includes six bedrooms, two kitchens, and a drawing room. That's right, two kitchens. At least you're getting your money's worth if you're putting down more than $1 million to live in Harry Potter's old house. That said, anyone looking to buy this house is probably going to

  • BuzzSugar
Image Source: Warner Bros. On Sept. 1, 2017, a grown-up Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley gathered together on Platform Nine and Three Quarters at King's Cross to bid farewell to their children, who were off to start their own adventures at Hogwarts. Just the thought of the epilogue in The Deathly Hallows is enough to make any Harry Potter fan a little teary, and now that the moment's actual date has come to pass, emotions are running high. It's been 19 years since Harry's defeat of Voldemort within the story, 10 years since J.K. Rowling released Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and six years since the last movie hit theaters, but the loyalty and love of the iconic, wildly popular series have not faded. Rowling herself took the time to mark the occasion with a tweet about how Friday is the day Albus Severus Potter boards the Hogwarts Express for the

Haugesund: Izer Aliu Hires ‘Taken’ Actor for Heist Movie (Exclusive)
Haugesund, Norway — Amanda winner and Nordic Council Film Prize Norwegian nominee Izer Aliu has attached Arben Bajraktaraj (“Taken”) to star in “Teacher Izat and the Lottery Heist.” LevelK is handling international sales.

Albanian-born, Norway-based writer-director Aliu was just bestowed at Haugesund’s Norwegian Intl. Film Festival, with the Amanda award for best director for his feature debut “Hunting Flies,” also nominated for the coveted Nordic Council Film Prize for 2017.

Set in Kosovo, his third film, with the working title of “Teacher Izat and the Lottery Heist “ mixes for the first time a string of local non-professional and profesional actors. Besides Arben Bajraktaraj (“Taken”, “Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 1”), cast also includes Alihajdaraj (“Agnus Dei”) and well-known Kosovo actor-producer Naser Rafuna.

Using “Hunting Flies” techniques of improvisation to catch a spontaneity in acting, the crime drama will challenge the traditions of genre cinema and question the true meaning of friendship.

Fantastic Beasts 2 Begins Filming, Here’s The Synopsis!

  • LRM Online
We all knew that Harry Potter was too much of a gravy train for Warner Bros. to end for too long. Plus, J.K. Rowling is the type of author who really throws her all into creating her worlds, and as such, has created an endless well from which to pull fresh water. A short five years after the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, audiences were treated to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

The film was set in the same world as Harry Potter, but it was by no means a Harry Potter story. Yes, it’s set in the same world, but it takes place decades prior in the 1920s in New York City. What’s more, the film didn’t follow the education of a few maturing wizards, but instead features an adult cast already living in the Wizarding World. Despite the similarities,

Harry Potter Revelations You Didn’t Know You Needed

Do you know Moaning Myrtle’s real name? Or the reason Lupin didn’t make it past the war? How much do you think it would cost to go to Hogwarts — if your letter hadn’t gotten lost in the mail? How about what Hagrid’s Patronus is? (Trick question! The gentle giant doesn’t have one.)

All of these questions, along with plenty you probably didn’t know you had, have been answered by J.K. Rowling in the decade (yes, it’s really been that long) since the final installment of the Harry Potter books, The Deathly Hallows.

The brand new trailer for Luc Besson's upcoming return to sci-fi, Valerian, has landed...

In a summer packed with sequels, remakes, reboots and franchise films, Valerian might just be the most interestingly gamble out there. It's directed by Luc Besson, and it's his first full-on blockbuster sci-fi film since The Fifth Element (although there's an argument that Lucy strays into sci-fi quite a lot too). And the new trailer for the movie has landed. It looks like this...
