Contradicting myself a little bit about what I said before concerning that in my opinion a show is interesting 80-90% because of its heroes and only 10-20% about its villains I believe that we have to award Vultureman's some credit for never giving up fighting against the tyranny of Mumm-ra. While Slythe and other characters even like to adulate him on a regular basis, Vultureman always seems to conserve at least a little bit of dignity through the series. I am surprised that he never attempted to, not join of course, but maybe team-up with the Thundercats or other heroes from time to time for specific goals like sharing technology or resources from time to time.
Also, we could make an interesting discussion about Zaxx. According to the data that Vultureman finds, Zaxx is one of the most ruthless villains in the Universe, rival to Mumm-ra. Nevertheless we never saw him doing anything that we could consider evil, and both Vultureman and Snarf recover themselves complete after having been hosts to Zaxx's power, even Snarf that in theory should have died after having had the Zaxx 's Medallion. Both Vultureman and Snarf recover completely and fast. So, maybe thinking that Zaxx or his medallion were, in reality, forces of good wouldn't be such a crazy hypothesis, don't you think?
