Storyline

Liz returns to London to find that her husband Laurence has been posted back to England to work at the War Office. When he finds out where she has been he is angry with her for leaving their little daughter Vicky. Her replacement in France is explosives expert Nigel Piggott. Liz visits Mathilde's family to assure them that all is well. Her grandfather is aware of her undercover work but her nervous mother is fearful when she learns of it. Pressurised by Krieger Claudine identifies her as a radio operator. After sharing an intimate moment with Colin - to avoid capture - she is eventually caught by the Germans.
