ELVIS:THE FINAL CHAPTER features a myriad of still photos, clips from movie trailers and reenactments. The last few years of Elvis' life is pieced together through interviews with his road manager/personal assistant/friend Joe Esposito and people he worked with and loved like Sheila Ryan, Mary Ann Mobley, Diane McBain, Sue Ane Langdon and Dee Fuller. Rare accounts of his behavior and attitudes during his final days and his life in retrospect is touched with topics like: The Colonel, The Comeback, The Women and his fun and generosity. Anything at all that can be construed as damaging comes from the frank recollections of Miss Ryan, who would leave her relationship with Elvis to marry actor James Caan. Overall, this documentary is honest and respectful. Well worth viewing.
