The episode starts as usual with something that has nothing to do with the plot, but this time it's actually funny so never mind.If they could have kept that level of jokes I never would have needed a plot. But for what it's worth,Santa's Little Helper becomes a police dog.He partners up of all people,Lou,because that's pretty much the only character left to develop, and this leads to rather humorless situations.I guess the joke is that the dog is treated like a person all the time but please, these people are stealing jokes from Turner&Hooch now?Meanwhile Bart gets a python, which is a plot that is used for the fourth time or so(just with a different animal),who he predictably calls Strangles.Eventually everything turns out the way it was again, duh. This episode started out well but it quickly lost momentum. It wasn't really bad,but it ended just soon enough.
