Storyline

Fin's son tells him that a girl he knows was raped. But her family is so traditional, she doesn't want to talk about it. Later another girl is raped in a similar manner, Fin thinks they have a serial rapist. But a detective from Brooklyn thinks the rapist is responsible for three homicides in his jurisdiction. Fin says that murderers don't turn to rapists so he thinks he's wrong. But things are too similar so they work together and find a possible link between the victims. Written by rcs0411@yahoo.com

Quotes

Det. Odafin 'Fin' Tutuola: [Title card: Hudson University; Alexander Hall; Thursday, December 7] We can't call her house and her cell phone's disconnected.
[walking with Lake and Ken]
Chester Lake: And the only time we can see her is when she's at school.
Ken Randall: That'll be tough; her father's always with her, watching her like a hawk.
Det. Odafin 'Fin' Tutuola: Well, if he sees us, we're facing a lawsuit.
Chester Lake: Look, can't you get us somewhere we can talk to her in private?
Ken Randall: She's in class right now. I'll go in, say the dean wants to see her.

Big time Daddy issues
26 April 2015 | by (Buffalo, New York) – See all my reviews

Adam Beach joins the SVU squad in this episode. He's a detective from Brooklyn SVU who comes into the squad one fine day and says that his three homicides are related to two rapes from Manhattan that Ice-T is handling are related. Most reluctantly Ice-T partners up with Beach and they fight almost constantly about how to proceed. But Beach turns out to be right though he grates on Ice-T's nerves.

It was obvious that Beach was not in for the long haul. Eventually in another episode an old case of his finally gets to him and he commits homicide in that story and he's gone. Too bad because Dann Florek is always short staffed.

The perpetrator is a real prize and the link for all the cases is an interesting one. Kal Penn the perpetrator has some big time Daddy issues. But truth be told father Navid Negahban successful though he is is also no prize.

You'll have to see the episode to know what I mean.
