Opening scene. Mary Shelly tells a scary story to 'our Nobel Laureate poet Mr. Keats'. This refers to the 1814 scary story competition between Mary Shelly, Percy Shelly, Lord Byron and John Polidori which saw the birth of Mary's novel 'Frankenstein; or the Modern Prometheus'. Keats' was not present. Also, John Keats died in 1821 and the first Nobel Prizes were awarded in 1901.
