The new temporary classrooms arrive, and it seems they are here to stay, because of the asbestos problem. Calley and Ronnie are surprised that Imelda isn't there to make mischief - but that's because she's inside one of the buildings as it is hoisted in position. Zammo breaks up a school chemistry beaker and pretends the glass is from his mother's cut-glass decanter. Gonch intercepts Ziggy's letter from the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, and decides to make it more interesting, by telling him that Prince Philip himself will visit, and that he wants him to collect as much chalk as possible. Mr. King asks Imelda about her letter to Rentokill - apparently she asked if rat poison would work on humans! Ziggy and Robbie's attempt to water-balloon Imelda leads to more self-inflicted damage.
