Megan gets angry when she sees Carolyn by the Chosen Room. Carolyn talks about the breathing noises which Megan blames on the radiator. Downstairs in the shop they notice a stranger looking in the window, he runs away.
At Collinwood, David reads another passage from the Leviathan book. Elizabeth comes in and David tells her he knows her husband is back which upsets her. After she leaves, David gathers some money together.
Paul calls Elizabeth for a meeting, she agrees to go to his hotel room.
David and Carolyn have a scene in the drawing room, he talks about Christmas coming and tears out a page from the newspaper.
