Here’s the red band trailer for The Sitter is definitely not one of those you want to watch at work or where ears may be easily affected or offended but…check it out. It looks exactly what you expect and a lot of fun from the director of Pineapple Express (David Gordon Green) who introduces us to a whole world of debauchery and twisted developments.

Starring Jonah Hill as Noah Griffith, a college student on suspension find himself coaxed into babysitting the evil kids next door. From there, all chaos breaks loose, check it out for yourself:

The Sitter arrives in the UK 20th January 2012 and also stars Sam Rockwell and the stunning Ari Graynor. Expect…anything!

Staff Picks: Kevin Polowy's Top 10 Movies of 2011

26 December 2011 11:00 AM, PST | NextMovie | See recent NextMovie news »

It's useless trying to sum up 2011 movies in a nutshell. As in every year, there were those that wowed (see below) and those that almost made you lose faith in all of humanity ("Green Lantern," "Jack and Jill"). And then of course, there were those movies that didn't live up to the hype.

But as I've always said, expectations are a bee-yotch. "The Descendants" and "Drive," for instance, are both films that I saw in advance, yet that had already been built up by fellow journos ("Descendants" as the Best Picture frontrunner, "Drive" as just Best. Picture. Ever.). I appreciated but was slightly disappointed by both. And then there's "Hugo," of which I saw an early cut that was overly long (Scorsese later edited it) with not-quite-finished 3-D.

Of the 150 or so movies I watched in '11, these are simply just the 10 I enjoyed the most, with an additional 10 honorable »

Sequel Bits: Warner Bros. Registers ‘Green Lantern 2’ and ‘Gremlins 3’, Plus: ‘Pineapple Express 2?, ‘Mission: Impossible 5?, ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’

23 December 2011 7:00 AM, PST | Slash Film | See recent Slash Film news »

[1] We've got news for you on several sequels today, some more realistic than others. On the "coming soon to a theater near you" end, there's a new synopsis for G.I. Joe: Retaliation; meanwhile, projects like Gremlins 3 and Pineapple Express 2 have been rumored for ages but as far as we can tell they're still just a twinkle in some studio exec's eye. After the jump: Warner Bros. registers domains for Green Lantern 2 and Gremlins 3 Seth Rogen discusses the possibility of a Pineapple Express sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation gets an official synopsis Paramount moves forward on a Mission: Impossible sequel and Top Gun 2 Green Lantern didn't exactly set the box office on fire this summer, but its opening weekend did well enough to get Warner Bros. thinking about a sequel. It's been a while since we've heard any significant updates on the project, but a look at some recent domain registrations »

Sequel News: Mission: Impossible, Pineapple Express and Gremlins

23 December 2011 3:52 AM, PST | WorstPreviews.com | See recent Worst Previews news »

After the amazing performance of "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol," it's not surprising that Paramount Pictures is interested in developing a fifth installment. But there's also news that "Pineapple Express 2" and "Gremlins 3" may soon hit theaters as well. Moviehole has learned that Skydance, one of the "M:I4" financiers, is rushing to get both "M:I5" and "Top Gun 2" into production. Cruise has already expressed interest in the "Top Gun" sequel and will likely return for more "Mission: Impossible" installments. Seth Rogen tells E! Online that he would love to return for a "Pineapple Express" sequel. "I don't think it's so precious that I wouldn't want to ruin it with a sequel," he explained. "So yeah, I would be [into it]. We talk about it. We joke around about it." Meanwhile, Warner Bros has renewed the website domain Gremlins3.com, which may mean that the studio is ready to make a third "Gremlin" movie. »

Seann William Scott Knocks Everybody Out In Great New Trailer For Goon

23 December 2011 1:00 AM, PST | HeyUGuys.co.uk | See recent HeyUGuys news »

We’ve seen some brilliant things from Seann William Scott’s next movie, the upcoming ice hockey comedy Goon, in the past few months, most recently including the film’s first UK trailer and poster as well as an awesome clip from the film just a few days ago.

Along with Scott, the film also stars Jay Baruchel, Liev Schreiber, Alison Pill, Kim Coates, and Scott’s American Pie co-star, Eugene Levy (who he’ll be returning alongside in that franchise for American Reunion come April next year).

We’ve now got a great new trailer to share with you, courtesy of iTunes Movie Trailers, via ComingSoon.net, with plenty of awesome new footage from the film and lots of Scott beating the hell out of everybody in sight. It’s a green band trailer this time around, so if you’re still at work, this should lift your spirits »

Seth Rogen Producing and Possibly Leading Disney’s Spy Comedy ‘The B Team’

22 December 2011 5:18 PM, PST | The Film Stage | See recent The Film Stage news »

Although the duo seems odd at first glance, Pineapple Express star Seth Rogen is teaming up with Disney for their latest project. Variety informs us that the actor is joining Disney’s The B Team as a producer, with the possibility of starring in the project as well.

Disney obtained the project back in 2008, after they bought a pitch from Chasing Liberty screenwriters David Schneiderman and Derek Guiley. The script is based on “a top secret agent being kidnapped, leaving his tech support team and researchers to rescue him.”

With little information to go on, I’m not sure if the project is going to be animated or live-action. Judging by Disney’s upcoming releases, I’m just going to assume animated — which is a good move, considering Rogen has voiced several animated characters over the past few years. His fist voice work was on 2007′s Shrek the Third, with »

Seth Rogen Plays Spy Games With 'The B Team'

22 December 2011 4:39 PM, PST | NextMovie | See recent NextMovie news »

Seth Rogen is about to accept his own impossible mission.

The "Green Hornet" himself is set to go undercover as he's signed on to produce and possibly star in Disney's new spy comedy, "The B Team," according to Variety.

"The B Team" tells the tale of a kidnapped secret agent whose only hope for rescue lies in his support team of technicians and research assistants -- kind of like if gadgets specialist Q had to rescue James Bond. All other details of the script by Derek Guiley and David Schneiderman are currently classified.

This sounds like the perfect starring vehicle for Rogen, as we're assuming he would be playing one of the tech geeks who suddenly has to be a field agent. Then again, he did pretty well as the Green Hornet, so he could probably play the kidnapped spy, too.

Rogen is actually no stranger to producing, as he's »

Disney Recruits Seth Rogen to Play on ‘The B Team’

22 December 2011 4:29 PM, PST | FilmSchoolRejects.com | See recent FilmSchoolRejects news »

There’s a spy comedy in the works over at Disney called The B Team that’s starting to see some life. The film is reportedly about a James Bond-type secret agent who gets himself kidnapped, leaving his nerdy tech support and research team left with the responsibility of rescuing him. Hilarity will doubtless follow as the pudgy, dweeby types try to acclimate themselves to being out in the world doing stuff instead of sitting behind a computer screen, typing things and coloring missions with snarky commentary. The new action regarding the film’s development is that Seth Rogen has been brought on as a producer, which means he’s likely also being looked at to star. This has been Rogen’s modus operandi of late. He’s had a producing hand in a lot of his recent films, including 50/50, The Green Hornet, and Pineapple Express. I guess he’s kind of like the Jay-z of the »

Pineapple Express 2 Could Still Happen Says Seth Rogen

22 December 2011 4:11 PM, PST | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Pineapple Express was a comedic success back in 2008, taking in a solid $87 million at the domestic box office, from just a $27 million budget. Seth Rogen, who starred in the stoner comedy with James Franco, recently revealed he would like to do a sequel.

"I don't think it's so precious that I wouldn't want to ruin it with a sequel. So yeah, I would be [into it]. We talk about it. We joke around about it."

Back in February 2010, James Franco indicated some "practical steps are being taken to actually make it happen," referring to a Pineapple Express sequel. Seth Rogen co-wrote the Pineapple Express script with Evan Goldberg, but it isn't known if the writing duo will tackle the sequel script.

Pineapple Express was released August 6th, 2008 and stars Seth Rogen, James Franco, Danny McBride, Kevin Corrigan, Craig Robinson, Gary Cole, Rosie Perez, Ed Begley Jr.. The film is directed by David Gordon Green. »

Seth Rogen Putting 'The B Team' Together for Disney's Spy Comedy

22 December 2011 4:00 PM, PST | firstshowing.net | See recent FirstShowing.net news »

Disney just decided to revive their gestating animation feature The Snow Queen in the form of Frozen, and now the studio is progressing on development of a spy comedy they picked up about three years ago. Variety has word that Seth Rogen is joining The B Team as producer and even has an eye for starring in the action comedy about a top secret agent being kidnapped, thus leaving his tech support team and researchers to rescue him. Sounds like the action of Spy Kids combined with the comedy of The Other Guys, especially with that title playing off the junior varsity nature of a team not nearly as skilled as the iconic A-Team. There's no telling how soon the project might get off the ground, but with Rogen's involvement, it could come together very quickly. Between Pineapple Express and Green Hornet, Rogen has had plenty of experience with action »

Goon - Seann William Scott Swears a Lot in This Nsfw Clip

Here is a new Nsfw clip from the hockey comedy Goon, which is directed Michael Dowse. The film stars Seann William ScottJay BaruchelLiev Schreiber, Alison Pill, Kim Coates, Eugene Levy, and Marc-André Grondin. I think this looks hilarious, and am looking forward to seeing this in theaters.

I loved Slap Shot, another raunchy hockey comedy starring Paul Newman. Whenever I see clips or trailers for this movie, I can't help but think of that.

Here is a description of the film:

Goon [goon]

1.    A hired hoodlum or thug

2.    A stupid, foolish or awkward person

Meet Doug Glatt (Seann William Scott).

He may not be the sharpest blade on the rink, but he’s got a killer right hook.

Seth Rogen To Produce And Potentially Star In 'The B Team'

22 December 2011 3:36 PM, PST | Huffington Post | See recent Huffington Post news »

At this point, there's nothing B-list about Seth Rogen.

Actually, scratch that.

Rogen will be producing Disney's "The B Team" and is potentially looking to star in the spy comedy, according to Variety.

The project is in the early stages of development and follows a top secret agent who is kidnapped, leaving his fate in the hands of his colleagues.

Rogen has pulled star/producer double-duty on many films in the past such as "The Green Hornet," "Superbad," "Pineapple Express," "Knocked Up," "Funny People" and most recently the ambitious dramedy "50/50," which received a nod for a Spirit Award as best feature and a Golden Globe in the comedy/musical category.

Next, Rogen will be starring alongside Barbra Streisand in the mother-son road-trip comedy "My Mother's Curse," which he (you guessed it!) is also serving as executive producer.

Disney Bring Seth Rogen On Board To Produce The B Team With An Eye To Star

22 December 2011 2:21 PM, PST | HeyUGuys.co.uk | See recent HeyUGuys news »

‘Disney’ and ‘Seth Rogen’ are three words you probably wouldn’t expect ever to hear in the same sentence, but the movie industry is full of surprises, and if Robert Rodriguez can include Spy Kids and Sin City in his credits, then there’s nothing to stop Seth Rogen from coming on board to produce a Disney film.

Variety are reporting that Rogen, fresh from his turn in the indie comedy 50/50, which has been doing brilliantly in the past few months, is now set to board Disney’s spy comedy The B Team as a producer, with an eye to star in it too.

The project focuses on,

“a top secret agent being kidnapped, leaving his tech support team and researchers to rescue him.”

He was a producer on 50/50, and now Variety reports that Rogen is coming on as a producer of an upcoming Disney property. The project is a spy comedy called The B Team that centers on a top secret agent’s tech support team and researchers who are tasked with rescuing him after he’s kidnapped.
