Storyline

The Green Arrow sends out for reinforcements and Bart Allen, a.k.a. Impulse, Arthur Curry (Aquaman) and Victor Stone (Cyborg) return to Smallville to help him take down LuthorCorp's secret lab called 'Project 33.1'. During a break-in at the LuthorCorp facility, Bart is captured and tortured by Lex for information to who hired him. Clark sets off to rescue him but is felled by kryptonite. An alarmed Chloe goes to Oliver for help, and the newly formed "justice league" springs into action to rescue Clark and Bart. Meanwhile, Oliver painfully decides to break up with Lois, feeling that his dedicating to justice is more important, but he leaves out that information from her. Written by Anonymous

Justice
11 April 2011 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

For any comic book fan, Justice has to be the closest thing to a dream episode. Everything you'd want to see is here. A return for all of the Justice League characters already introduced in the past 3 seasons. The Flash (aka Impulse), Cyborg, Aqua Man, and of course The Green Arrow, and for the first time ever it brought all the characters together with Clark. We also get to see Lex Luthor as close to a full fledged villain as he's been shown yet. Thankfully of the Justice League characters, Green Arrow and Flash/Impulse receive more screen time than the still slightly dull Cyborg and still annoying and poorly acted Aqua Man. When the team comes together in action for the first time however, it feels straight out of a comic book.

Tom Welling does a much better job in "Justice" his second time directing after last seasons boring "Fragile". While many Smallville episodes cop out on the action, this one goes all out, and also features the most iconic single shot since Clark hung in the corn fields in the Pilot. Watch for it with the explosion in the background.

All in all, an exciting episode for any Smallville, Superman, or CD comic books fan. 2nd best of the season as well, behind only the finale.
