Storyline

Charlie happily prepares to spend Christmas Eve as any pleasant night, getting lustily laid, this time by easy girl Gloria. As a good sport he allows the commoner's tradition, exchanging presents, to skin his wallet again, even smiling to Jake, grossly in the case of Berta, who milks him and still starts the infuriating practice of hanging around in his beach-house, making Charlie's sex chase a spectator sport, something Rose masters as with everything he ever did. Judith even brought her new fiancé, pediatrician Herb, and unreasonable as ever threatens her ex Alan because his other ex Kandi proves a sex-magnet for 'free diagnosing' Herb. Still Gloria gets between Charlie's sheets, but this time ma Evelyn is determined to deny him this particular partner, only she can't bring herself to say why; Gloria's mother Dorothy comes drop that bombshell from the Seventies... Call 911
13 December 2006 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I laughed so hard I was afraid my wife was going to have to call 911 for me. The opening sequence with Charlie singing dirty Christmas carols was hysterical. Berta's making eggnog was priceless. And when Charlie found out the family secret I was holding my sides. This is a don't miss episode. Brian Stills ogling of Kandi is a scream. This is one of the funniest Christmas shows ever aired. What is supposed to be a big night for Charlie turns into a farce of the grand scale. Try not to miss this one in reruns. The entire cast goes the extra mile in this one. This is one of the best Christmas presents from a comedy ever. The writers of this show are in rare form in this episode. They are always good but this is exceptional.
