Storyline

As Fireworks Night approaches Mulberry learns that Alice and Bert dread the private bonfire celebration upon which Miss Farnaby insists every year. When he brings this to her attention he learns that she too hates it but is merely maintaining an old family tradition from happier days when her parents were alive. Everybody is relieved when Miss Farnaby cancels the event and they all head off to enjoy the village celebration. However when Mulberry returns to the house the swarthy man rebukes him for not doing what he was supposed to. Written by don @ minifie-1

Bert: Mulberry! Mulberry! Do it all yourself, Bert. Mulberry!
Bert: [steps out of the stack] How.
Bert: What?

Bert: How what?

Bert: You'll get carted off one of these days, you will.
