A Disaster Of A Film And A Mockumentary
17 February 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Me & Michael is a comedic documentary made by director Willard Morgan as he sets out to discover why outspoken activist filmmaker Michael Moore refused his request for an interview. It tries to imitate Moore's film Roger And Me, as Willard tries to track down Moore the same way Michael did to GM Chairman Roger Smith after his hometown of Flint,Michigan experienced massive layoffs that left 30,000 former GM employees unemployed. The documentary tries to provide the viewer something from Michael Moore.

After Larry Elder's Michael & Me which intends to be a counter argument for Moore's Bowling For Columbine, this doc entitled in an interesting alternative - Me & Michael - is more of a mockumentary as it does not provide a counterargument to any of Moore's films nor does it provide anything as a social-political commentary to any of Moore's political and social ideologies. It was more of like a promotion for Willard to get a job in Hollywood.Too bad that this film does not provide anything at all for him as well aside from Michael Moore and Moore fans as well as Moore critics and haters. Also,it does not provide an ounce of entertainment nor does it provide anything humorous or funny.A disastrous documentary indeed!!!!!
