God vs Baal

Superbook brings Chris,Joy and Gizmo back in the time of the Prophet Elijah.

The first event is when our main characters back when Elijah was staying with the widow and her daughter who does not have sufficient food to feed themselves. The prophet seeks the help of God and manages to provide for them to become sufficient in their needs.

The second event is the more exciting one.Our main characters witness that King Ahab has permitted the worship of Baal. The prophet confronted him about it.Hence, the king decided to put a test between God and Baal. Two altars were built. The priests of Baal started to pray and worship towards Baal to put a fire on the altar. After many hours of praying, nothing happened. Then Elijah decided to pray to the Lord. Before he did,he asked that the altar be filled with water. After a few minutes of prayer, fire was present in God's altar. The Israelites decided to return their worship to the Lord after this test and drought ended in Ancient Israel.

This was a wonderful episode.A viewer will definitely enjoy the battle between Elijah and the priests of Baal. That will definitely encourage Christians to pray more often to the Lord and have a good relationship with him.
