The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012) Poster

Alternate Versions

Also shown in a 3D and 48 fps version, but the content is the same.
An extended edition was released on DVD and Blu-Ray adding 13 minutes of footage.
The prologue of the theatrical version shows Smaug with front legs. This was done at a time where the design of Smaug was not settled yet. Between the theatrical release if this film and the next one, the decision was made to have his front limbs fused to his wings. For the DVD release, this was changed on the prologue as well.
