Storyline

Lupin and his gang disguise themselves as the anthropological researchers who travel to Kima the hidden mountain country of Tibet, where the legendary Monkey King once traveled to according to legend. And it's said that there's mountains of treasure there. So once they got there, Fujiko was already feeling like she's in paradise. But this seemed way to easy as any kind of thief can just walk around and take the gold. And then they find out why thieves weren't able to steal any of it before. As they were captured by Kinkaku and Ginkaku, the monkey giants who rule Kima. Lupin, Jigen, and Goemon were imprisoned as human Shogi pieces along with a bunch of other criminals, thieves, bandits, and crooks who also tried to steal the treasure. They were all positioned on a giant Shoji board and Kinkaku & Ginkaku played it as if it were an actual Shoji game. Only it's a fight to the death for the human pieces. How will Lupin get out of this one, and are Kinkaku and Ginkaku really giant? Written by J LeGault
