Some Nice Style

Red Princess Blues (2010)

** 1/2 (out of 4)

A girl is invited to go into a tent where a carnival is being ran. Once back there she realizes it's just not her crowd but the big bad wolf (or wolves) sets his eyes on her and soon she realizes that she's in danger.

This is basically a take off on the Little Red Riding Hood story but instead of an actual wolf the "wolves" here are older men who like to drink alcohol and mistreat the women. Director Alex Ferrari brings quite a bit of style to the picture and for the most part it's an entertaining short but there's no question that there are a few flaws here including the lack of any real story. The characters for the most part are good and as I said there's certainly some nice style here.
