The question on everyone's mind regarding the cheerleader is that, since she's still alive, does the bomb still go off? This is especially true for Hiro, who meets with Isaac to discuss their next course of action. Quotes

[first lines]
Claire Bennet: Are you mad at me? You haven't said anything since I got in the car. Since I told you.
Mr. Bennet: No, no. I just... I've just been thinking. I have something I need to tell you, it's unfair to keep it from you any longer. What you can do... I've known about you, Claire. I knew before you knew, before you made those tapes with Zach.
Claire Bennet: You saw the tape? Why didn't you say anything?
Mr. Bennet: There are a lot of reasons but mostly I just wanted to protect you.
Claire Bennet: Protect me? All this time I've... felt so alone ...

Some minor corrections to the above synopsis...
10 December 2006 | by See all my reviews

A couple of corrections to the above post (with all respect to the individual who wrote it):

On Eden's confrontation with Sylar...

Eden confronts Sylar, a wall of thick glass between them. She attempts to use her power of persuasion on him to convince Sylar to kill himself. It doesn't work, and when he realizes that Eden was so close to Chandra Suresh (literally the girl next door) and that she knew of his abilities, he becomes angry and uses his telekinetic ability to abruptly pull her through the glass wall, shattering it and injuring her. "You knew what I was and you let it continue." Sylar tells Eden that he's going to consume her power.

Eden points the gun at his head. Mockingly, Sylar tells her "Eden, you know that won't hurt me." She realizes that he is absolutely right. She also realizes that she cannot allow him to absorb yet another ability. She points the gun at her own head and pulls the trigger. The formerly crystal clear glass behind her is suddenly stained red.

On Claire's encounter with the Haitian...

Up to this point, Mr. Bennett's assistant, the Haitian, has been acting under his orders. "I work for your father," he says to Claire. "He sent me here to make you forget... like he sent me to your friend... and your brother... and your mother, so many times." He goes on to say that her father will be there soon, expecting that Claire won't remember anything. "But it is very important," he says, "that you do." Then he asks, "Tell me, Claire. Can you keep a secret?"

"Heroes" is one of the most well-written series I've seen in a long time. Not since "Babylon 5" have I looked with such anticipation toward next week's chapter! This one will end up in my DVD collection when it comes out. :-)
