Storyline

Tommy Adams has become quite the grown man. Now 19 years old, he is the man of the house, working full-time and supporting his widowed mother. He has also taken quite a fancy to Rachel Sullens, a 26 year old woman who lives with her 19 year old sister, Lindy. Rachel goes for a walk with him and even kisses him, but makes it known that she is engaged to Arthur Dagnall and Tommy shouldn't get any ideas. Tommy offers to marry her when she becomes pregnant and the baby's father, Arthur, vanishes. Tommy's mother knows something is going on and warns Tommy that he cannot marry without her permission until he is 21. Soon however, Tommy begins to step out with Lindy and when she too becomes pregnant, Tommy finds himself about to become a father. Written by garykmcd
