David Walliams: My Life with James Bond 007
25 November 2006 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

As part of the celebration of the release of Casino Royale starring Daniel Craig, this special documentary with comedy element had Little Britain star David Walliams both presenting and contributing to one of his passions. He and the other stars of this programme all collect James Bond in some way or another, or are just fans of the films. This has interviews with some of the film stars, including Steven Berkoff, Maryam d'Abo and Samantha Bond, and the contributions about past Bond conventions, i.e. girls, villains, cars, gadgets and much more. Also starring David Arnold, Martin Campbell (director of GoldenEye and Casino Royale), Jimmy Carr, Ben Cooke, Jay Kay, Gary Powell and Jonathan Ross. The highlight for me is the ending when Walliams does the famous walk in (without gun barrel) for Bond, attempting to be like Bond. David Walliams was number 78, and James Bond number 21 on The 100 Greatest Sex Symbols. Very good!
