Running out of steam

King of Queens was a decent enough sitcom, but by this point I think it had run its course.

The plot of this episode is a interesting enough, at least the B story involving Carrie is, but all the story involving Kevin James does is paint him as a big man child who is dim to the point of no return.

There are some laughs, but they are far and few between here.

This is not one of the better episodes of the show unfortunately.

I love the show but this season opener was pretty lame. First of all, as someone who has sold several of my homes over the years, and as a former real estate appraiser, the idea that a model home (which looked very CA, and not NY) would show better staged with a fake family, was ludicrous. In real life if the house is still occupied the sellers have to leave when the house is shown! And model homes are staffed by an agent. Prospective buyers don't want the sellers (fake or not) around.

Next, as someone mentioned in the goofs, the brown CA landscape and mountains were clearly visible when Doud was driving. When will Hollywood writers get a clue and realize that the NE looks nothing like CA? Don't they edit the film?
