As much as I have enjoyed NIN over the years, this "performance" is shameful, pathetic, and an insult to the intelligence. If there is one second of actual live vocal performance, I missed it. Why, oh why....did he have to re-record ALL of the damned vocals? Only a true buffoon wouldn't be able to see his performance isn't live. Again...why!!!??? Are his vocals so brutally horrible live to where they had to fake it later via a studio performance? Baffling.

I think it's safe to say that true fans would have enjoyed the show no matter how bad the sound quality or his actual performance really was that evening. But, does he think we are idiots who cannot see this is not live? (his parts, I mean. The rest of the bands performance seems to be live) The director also did a shockingly horrible job. It was like an 80's video where many cuts were completely out of sync with the song. HOW is that even possible today? You almost have to TRY to do it so poorly. Hilariously, one of the credits at the end was something to the effect of "sound/audio sync". Really? Thats funny.

In the right hands, and with a real vocal performance, this could have been excellent. But it is far from that. I hated it, despite being a huge fan. Some very bad choices made by both Trent, and his highly unqualified director.

David Fincher, though he doesn't direct live performances like this (but has directed music videos for NIN), would have presumably done some pretty spectacular things had they been able to get him....both visually and conceptually. Is this Rob Sheridan guy an intern or something? He work sure feels like it.

Very disappointing.
