Sarah Silverman made 'Howard Stern Show' history at the DNC

26 July 2016 11:35 AM, PDT | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

Sarah Silverman made big news on Monday night when she called the "Bernie or Bust" crowd "ridiculous" from the DNC stage in primetime, but for Howard Stern fans her speech was notable for another reason: it was the first time "Baba Booey" was invoked, at least to my knowledge, at a major political convention. For those not in the know: "Baba Booey" is the nickname of longtime Howard Stern Show producer Gary Dell'Abate, who has (mostly) come to embrace the moniker since he was first anointed with it on July 26, 1990 (backstory here). More broadly, though, it's become a way for Stern Show fans to make their presence known at high-profile events, from professional golf tournaments to network news broadcasts. In short: when you hear "Baba Booey" shouted out, you can be pretty sure there's a Stern fanatic in the general vicinity. Silverman -- who was an ardent Bernie Sanders supporter »

'Star Wars' Buzz: Watch Young Han Solo Auditions

25 July 2016 3:00 PM, PDT | Movies.com | See recent Movies.com news »

Recently at Star Wars Celebration, Alden Ehrenreich was officially confirmed to be the new Han Solo in a forthcoming spin-off movie. We learned that he was the first person to audition, though we know that many other people were considered for the role, including Charlie Cox (TV's Daredevil), Miles Teller (War Dogs) and Dave Franco (Now You See Me 2), who have all spoken about the audition process.  Late night television host Conan O'Brien has now revealed a brand new video, purporting to be "Young Han Solo Audition Tapes." Watch it below.   The first actor featured is Bill Hader, who was an instrumental part of the process to give voice to Bb-8, the rolling droid introduced in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Clearly, his vocal abilities are quite...

Lego Batman Movie Comic-Con Trailer Swings Into Hall H

23 July 2016 5:29 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Warner Bros. revealed earlier this month that one of the movies they will showcase in their Hall H Comic-Con panel is The Lego Batman Movie. The second trailer debuted back in March, but we haven't seen any new footage since then. During the Comic-Con panel, Warner Bros.' released a new trailer, which was actually shown during CinemaCon in April but was never released online, and we also have a new poster.

Director Chris McKay and Will Arnett came on stage and also revealed an animated clip that showed all of Hall H recreated in LEGOs, along with a mini-figure of the panel's moderator, Conan O'Brien. The video features a Lego Joker and Robin, with Robin is calling Batman "Dad," which Batman isn't too fond of. We also see Barbara Gordon, who Batman calls his "platonic bat-friend, by night."

The second The Lego Batman Movie trailer from March went deep inside Wayne Manor. »

Over 50 Justice League Trailer Photos and New Superhero Logos Unveiled

23 July 2016 4:45 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

A few weeks ago, Warner Bros. announced what movies it would showcase during its two-hour Hall H presentation, hosted by Conan O'Brien. There were supposed to be six movies that would be trotted out to the 7,000 fans in Hall H, including two of their DC Comics movies, Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman, but it wouldn't be Comic-Con if there wasn't at least one big surprise. As many had hoped, the studio also debuted the first trailer for Justice League earlier today, and we have a slew of photos from this new footage, to give you a closer look at these heroes.

Production has been under way on Justice League since April, and we learned quite a bit about the movie over the past few months, but still, many fans weren't expecting the first trailer to debut at Comic-Con, especially since there is still plenty of filming left. Warner Bros. has »

Leonardo DiCaprio Got Pranked by James Corden and JLo, and It's Hilarious

30 March 2016 7:09 AM, PDT | Moviefone | See recent Moviefone news »

Jennifer Lopez and Leonardo DiCaprio are apparently "Boo Boo" and "Baby" to each other. That's one revelation to come out of "The Late Late Show" host James Corden's new "Carpool Karaoke" segment with JLo. The host and his guest basically pranked Leo during the segment, with James sending the Oscar winner a ridiculous fake text from JLo's phone, then the pair poked fun at Leo's serious(ly hilarious) response.

The entire 13-minute video is a fun watch, including Jennifer's insistence that she did not insure her butt for a million dollars, 'cause that's not even a thing in this country. But the best part is when she breaks out her phone and James asks her to name the most famous person in there. That happens around the 9:50 mark, where she notes she's friends with Demi Lovato, Chris Brown, Bradley Cooper, Cristiano Ronaldo, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Fergie, »

Zack Snyder Talks New Batmobile Differences

15 January 2016 9:56 AM, PST | Dark Horizons | See recent Dark Horizons news »

After the premiere of a new "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" clip on the Conan O'Brien talk show the other day, director Zack Snyder spoke more about the movie with the host and specifically compared the differences between the new Batmobile and the Tumbler from Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight" trilogy.

"First of all when we were working on the movie and we were like 'We're going to put Batman in the movie, that's cool,' I said 'We need a Batmobile, right?' Because if you're the smallest amount of a dork you want to make a Batmobile right? That seems like the first thing you want to do.

I think the cool thing that we try to do, you've seen the Chris Nolan Batman movies and the Tumbler, they repurposed a military vehicle. So the cool thing about our Batmobile is it is purpose-built by Bruce Wayne to be the Batmobile, »
