Live-Action Short for Loadout: Going In Hot with Richard Hatch

16 December 2014 9:44 AM, PST | GeekTyrant | See recent GeekTyrant news »

Machinima Prime has released a very fun sci-fi short film called Loadout: Going in Hot, which is a live action adaption of the third-person shooter video game of the same name. The short stars Battlestar Galactica's Richard Hatch as Captain Gaz. The story follows the Captain and his loyal crew on an adventure that brings excitement and absurdity. If you've played the game, then you'll notice some of the key elements from it in the short. If you haven't played the game, it's still an entertaining watch.

The short was directed by Vincent Talenti (Red Star, Fallout: Nuka Break) and this is the synopsis:

Battlestar Galatica's Richard Hatch captains a crew of merchant marines in space who compete with other local haulers in the highly profitable (and extremely dangerous) antiquities and curios shipping business. Gaz and his crew scramble to avert a ship-wide disaster; while racing against the clock and Gaz’s arch nemesis, »

Jennifer Aniston Poses Topless, Slams Pressure to Get Pregnant

15 December 2014 8:17 AM, PST | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »

The guy that gave Jennifer Aniston "The Rachel" cut -- hairstylist and Bff to the actress Chris McMillan -- is seen in a skin-to-skin embrace with the Friends star in the latest issue of Allure magazine.

In addition to posing in a series of sexy shots for the women's publication, Aniston also covers all the usual subjects she's asked about: motherhood, her fiance Justin Theroux and her unattractive role in Cake -- and she gets more candid than usual.

While there seems to be a tabloid magazine cover every few months claiming the 45-year-old actress is expecting, Aniston has yet to give birth and says she's over the pregnancy rumors. "I don't like [the pressure] that people put on me, on women -- that you've failed yourself as a female because you haven't procreated. I don't think it's fair," she tells Allure.

Gabrielle Union Calls Dwyane Wade an 'Old Geezer' In Epic Videobomb

1 December 2014 3:33 PM, PST | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »

No one can ever accuse Gabrielle Union of not being interested in her husband Dwyane Wade's basketball career.

The Bring It On star has been known to get more than a little vocal about Dwyane's basketball performances in the past, but she took it to the next level Sunday by videobombing him after the Miami Heat's 86-79 win over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Though Dwyane's team won, that didn't stop Gabrielle from busting his chops during this interview with a Fox reporter.

"To come back with 27 points, we're going to talk about the free throws later ....," she joked, completely taking over the interview.

She also wasn't afraid to address head-on the common criticism that, at 32 years old, Dwyane is no longer at his best.

"He did good for an old geezer," she laughed. "It's nice. It's good."

Gabrielle has admitted in the past that Dwyane has banned »

Et sat the cast down to talk set secrets and baby gossip.

TV's number one comedy The Big Bang Theory kicked off its eighth season this year, and Et's Kevin Frazier was on set to get some juicy gossip from the show's stars.

#1: Is Kaley Pregnant?

Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco, who play engaged couple Leonard and Penny on the show, talked with Frazier about their on-screen relationship, but the conversation quickly turned to Cuoco's real-life romance.

The actress married tennis player Ryan Sweeting at the end of last year, and baby rumors are beginning to fly.

"I knew I shouldn’t have worn this!" Cuoco laughed about her choice of a loose draped blouse, as pregnancy talk started immediately.

"The short haircut isn’t helping the pregnancy rumors by the way," Galecki teased, pointing out Cuoco's new pixie cut.

The actress fired back, "What does that mean?"

Galecki attempted to answer, "I don't know »

Zach Galifianakis reveals remarkable weight loss at Birdman premiere

14 October 2014 5:56 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - Movie News news »

Zach Galifianakis debuted his remarkable weight loss as he attended the Birdman screening at the New York Film Festival over the weekend.

The 45-year-old actor made his first public appearance in over a year at the premiere which closed the festival, during which he also complained about overblown attitudes towards filmmaking.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, The Hangover star said: "It's confusing to me - all of this is confusing to me.

"They oversell it like we're curing cancer, you know what I mean? I just think it can be gross sometimes, the way Hollywood congratulates itself all the time."

Galifianakis stars alongside Emma Stone and Michael Keaton in Alejandro González Iñárritu's drama, which follows Keaton's unstable character as a washed-up actor, famous for playing iconic superhero Birdman.

He attempts to recapture the spotlight by starring in a Broadway play, but the lines between reality and fiction begin to blur. »

'Walking Dead' Season 5 Premiere Breaks Series Ratings Record

13 October 2014 3:56 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

The Season 5 premiere of AMC's The Walking Dead delivered the highest ratings in series history. The episode was watched by 17.3 million viewers and 11 million adults aged 18-49, increases of 7% and 6%, respectively, over the Season 4 premiere, the previous record-holder. The Walking Dead continues to be the #1 show on television among adults 18-49. Last night's episode outperformed everything else on television in this key demographic, including Sunday Night Football, by over 2.5 million adults 18-49. With time-shifted playback, the Season 5 premiere should exceed 22 million viewers.

Here's what AMC president Charlie Collier had to say about the record-breaking ratings in a statement.

"It's a Dead man's party. Who could ask for more? Enormous thanks to our friends and executive producers Robert Kirkman, Scott M. Gimple, Greg Nicotero - who also directed last night's terrific premiere - Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert and Tom Luse and all of their fellow producers, cast and crew »

Zach Galifianakis, Is That You?!

13 October 2014 1:30 PM, PDT | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

It's been quite a while since Zach Galifianakis made a red carpet appearance, so when he popped up for a special presentation of Birdman in NYC over the weekend, we were surprised to see him debuting a whole new look. Zach first started dropping pounds over a year ago; he told Conan O'Brien in 2013, "I stopped drinking and I just kind of put the weight off," but he's looking thinner and more healthy than ever. Things have been pretty busy for Zach so far this year; back in March, he appeared in Muppets Most Wanted and interviewed Barack Obama on Between Two Ferns. Here's hoping he's coming back into the spotlight after Birdman hits theaters on Oct. 17, because let's be honest: the shortage of hilarious Zach Galifianakis moments has left a void in our lives. Keep reading to see his transformation. »
