Conan announced on Late Night that entire The Max Weinberg 7 will be coming with him to the Tonight Show. Although The Max Weinberg 7 is now called "The Tonight Show Band" the only change in personnel is the addition of occasional fill-in drummer James Wormworth as a permanent member.

NBC and IMDb have assigned different numbers to episodes of "The Tonight Show" beginning in late September 2009. NBC assigns #74 to the episode partially taped on Friday, September 25, which was cancelled mid-taping due to Conan O'Brien's concussion, then counts the following Monday's show (in which some of the Friday footage was incorporated) as #75. However, IMDb doesn't assign episode numbers to unaired programs, and lists the Monday show as #1.74, accounting for the discrepancy of one number in the episode listings.
