Derek convinces Peyton to take a chance with Lucas at the same time that Brooke approaches him about getting back together. Daunte's latest demand leads Nathan to seek help from an unlikely source - Dan. When Rachel learns of a failing grade, she turns to Haley for tutoring. Nathan is named MVP of the Ravens at the annual sports banquet.

Storyline

Instead of wiping Nathan's debt as agreed, Daunte now uses the deliberate lousy last game to blackmail him into losing the state championship, or he'll tell Duke about the cheating. Just now coach tells Nathan they'll both get a public award at the Ravens' annual sports banquet, and Whitey really wants this very last title of his career. When Nathan bravely tells Daunte he won't bend, the next clear threat is to bust his leg permanently. The fake Derek is finally arrested. Rachel asks Haley for tutoring as she's about to fail calculus and thus miss out on normal graduation, but is told she's too unlikeable; however Lucas, Karen and Nathan convince Haley to give Rachel a last chance. When Karen hears Lucas is going to the banquet with Brooke, she accepts Dan's invitation to go together; Mouth is with Gigi despite Rachel's maneuvers, Peyton brings Derek in uniform. What happened and my opinion

Wow, This was such a good episode. I loved it and how Peyton said I love to you to Lucas. Im afraid he wont say it back which would be so sad. And the fact that Rachel sat Brooke and Peyton at the same table was so mean! But I kind of think that Brooke felt a little bad for Peyton. But thats just me. Im afraid for Peyton and how Derrek - the real one left her. He went to war i think. And I'm afraid that he is going to die. Which would be really sad and I'd be afraid Peyton might be so upset she might do something to harm herself. But, we'll have to wait and see. I almost forgot. Nathen and Haley. That is going to be interesting to see if Nathen throws the Championship game. I don't think he will because of Whiteys speech and how he really wants to win. I think Nathen should tell Whitey about his predicament. I loved this episode. One of my favorites!
