Poor Reefer!
Sylviastel7 December 2006
Reefer is the homeless guy played beautifully by Charles Haid I believe. Anyway it's a small role but he does a very good job in making us like this drunk homeless guy who lives across the street from the practice. Anyway, Sean hasn't recovered from his loss. He is devastated when his daughter Annie can't come to Miami for Christmas and begins drinking. He performs surgery intoxicated allowing a woman to experience an orgasm at the drop of a hat. Anyway, Christian's life is getting better with a new home, his son Wilbur, and his new fiancé Michelle. Of course, Michelle has yet to inform him of James' true profession. You thought prostitution was bad, unfortunately, James befriends Reefer and you can figure out the rest if you know what's going on. There are humorous scenes like Sean playing Santa Claus and depressing the children who sit on his lap. Of course, don't forget his scene with the female dwarf.

Incredible Christmas episode
PoisonKeyblade16 September 2007
'Reefer' is the second of the holiday-themed episodes of Nip/Tuck, and it is by far the best, and even one of the best episodes of Season 4. Sean's world continues falling apart before his eyes as he struggles to find someone to spend Christmas with. He realizes, ultimately, that he might just be alone this Christmas, until he begins warming up to a hobo who has stationed himself right in front of McNamara/Troy. Christian begins to suspect something us going on with Michelle, and he receives a truly amazing surprise when Wilber, the child he thought he had lost, finds his way back into Christian's life. This episode, just like the very concept of Christmas, is incredibly heartwarming and uplifting, and is especially about the Christmas spirit and love. It even manages to throw out a few surprises, including a shocking moment between James and Reefer.

Best episode ever!
trevdesigner4 December 2006
I've been a longtime Nip/Tuck fan and I must say this was the best episode yet! I'm not used to seeing little kids cast for this show but they definitely did a good job! When Emily Sarah Carlson was sitting on Sean's (Santa's) lap and he said," Oh, great, so you want Santa to bring you diabetes for Christmas..." the look of shock on her face was priceless! Kudos to Debbie the Elf as well...The interaction between Sean and Reefer showed Sean's softer side. Sean looked pretty sharp in his Gucci suit...it was nice to see him out of his usual Brooks Brothers duds. I wonder if Michelle is going to end up "getting rid of" James in the end. Well, it looks like Season 4 is coming to an end and like I said before Episode 13, "Reefer" was the best episode of the season! I'm looking forward to season 5!
