Huge outdoor fight arena and final fights above average
Masked men compete and Yueh Hua arrives without a mask and becomes the evil top man protecting the emperor. They seek Pearl who is known to be out for revenge. Some other good guys are looking for her to rescue someone. Yueh Hua's gang is killing people but one guy in a tea house (Chung Wa) is unbeatable. Next three bozos think they have found Pearl but it is Fan Ling. She seeks Pearl too. There is a set up to draw her out for revenge against the Three Young Tigers. Pearl, as a man, is at the brothel and finds them. Chung Wa assists at the end. They have a long talk and Fan Ling listens in. They have a history, he loves her, she doesn't love him. Cliff Lok is also in this movie as the comic relief. Of course, he is holding back on his kung fu until the right moment. The best part is the tournament scene at about 45 minutes. A huge outdoor set was built using a forest of bamboo. The fight scenes there and the final fight were all above average.
