United Talent Agency is suing its client, World of Wonder Productions, claiming it was cheated out of profits for the Oxygen television show “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.” In a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court Friday, UTA accused World of Wonder of breach of contract, fraud, negligent misrepresentation and breach of fiduciary duty, among other charges. Aaron Meyerson Named CBS TV Distribution's President of Programming

'Tori & Dean' scores best premiere ever
"Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" had a sweet Season 5 premiere in the ratings Monday night.

Oxygen's reality series -- the current season of which is following Tori Spelling, husband Dean McDermott and their two children on a cross-country road trip -- scored its best season premiere among total viewers (816,000) as well as the network’s target demos of adults 18-34 (273,000), women 18-34 (216,000), adults 18-49 (554,000) and women 18-49 (436,000).

Compared with the show's fourth-season debut, Monday's 10 p.m. premiere was up 3% among adults 18-49, 3% among women 18-49, 6% among women 18-34, 10% among adults 18-34 and 7% among total viewers.

Pickups for 'D-List,' 'Tori & Dean'

Bravo's Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List and Oxygen's Tori & Dean: Inn Love have been picked up for an additional season.

Bravo and Oxygen -- now corporate siblings after NBC Universal's acquisition of Oxygen in November -- made the announcements separately Tuesday. The news of "Tori & Dean's" renewal marks the first major programming green light since the NBC Uni acquisition, Oxygen said.

D-List is coming back for a fourth season this year. Returning are Griffin's assistant, Jessica; her assistant's assistant, Tiffany; her "manager," Tom; and her mother, Maggie. This season could see Griffin have her staff adorn uniforms "to finally show a little respect for the company," Bravo said.

D-List, from Picture This Television, is executive produced by Marcia Mule, Bryan Scott, Lisa M. Tucker and Griffin.

Meanwhile, the Oxygen series is working under the title "Tori & Dean: Still Inn Love" for its third season, targeted to premiere in the summer with eight hourlong episodes. The new season will follow husband-and-wife stars Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott as they leave their bed and breakfast behind, move back to Hollywood, buy a new house and search for preschools for their baby, Liam.

So Notorious star Tori reportedly inherited a paltry $200,000 of her late millionaire father Aaron Spelling's $500 million fortune - a decision made my her then-estranged mother Candy Spelling. Tori spent the inheritance on a guest house for her and new husband Dean McDermott to run - all captured on reality show Tori And Dean: Inn Love. Candy and Tori have since reconciled, shortly before the birth of the actress' first child Liam in March, and both mother and daughter are in agreement for Candy not to appear on the TV show. Tori says, "I know that a lot of people want to see that (Candy on the show), but I don't want to be selling out by putting my family on TV. World of Wonder taps 4 execs

World of Wonder Prods., the film and TV production company whose credits include IFC's scripted series The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman and Oxygen's unscripted Tori and Dean: Inn Love, has expanded its executive ranks with four appointments.

Industry veteran Tom Campbell has been named head of development, Chris Skura has been tapped head of production, Fred Paccone has been appointed COO and Tom Wolf has been promoted to chief technology officer.

WOW said the appointments are part of an effort to "meet the demands of its expanded television production output and new-media ventures."

WOW said it plans to make a "deeper commitment" to scripted projects. The company is developing the script for the tentatively titled Pornopolis, a dramedy set in the adult entertainment industry, for IFC. On the unscripted side, WOW recently unveiled a development slate that includes Allison Margolin: The Dopest Attorney in Town, Jim J. Bullock: Beauty School Dropout and Jeffree Star.

The company's TV credits also include Bravo's Million Dollar Listings, Sundance Channel's One Punk Under God and VH1's upcoming What Perez Sez.

"Since we are creating new business models and expanding our brand, the time has come to put together a top-notch team to take WOW to the next level," co-founder Fenton Bailey said.

Heavily pregnant actress Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott celebrated the opening of their newly-remodeled bed and breakfast in California on Saturday. The inn, named Chateau La Rue in honor of Spelling's pug Mimi La Rue, is located in Fallbrook, California - 100 miles south east of Los Angeles. The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star and her husband will run the inn as part of their new reality show, Tori & Dean: Inn Love - and Spelling loves the new place. The inn officially opens to guests later this week, and Spelling insists she is going to be helping out, even though she is due to give birth to a boy at the end of the month. She adds, "Dean will be doing a lot of the day-to-day manual labor. Since I'm in my ninth month, I'm exhausted and it's hard for me to get around. "But I love to cook so I'll be preparing a lot of the food and conceptualizing theme nights."
