I'm not a huge fan of short movies, but this one was really well done! I saw it at the Evil City Film Festival in New York and liked the different tones of the film. The basic jist of the movie is a man wakes up in a hotel room and ends up locking himself out of it. We find out he has a fear of clowns and spends the rest of the movie being chased by a maniacal laughing female clown. I won't give anything away but I will say that it was a lot of fun to watch, lighter fare than most of the films I had seen at this festival. I talked to the director after wards and he was telling me that they shot this quickly and over a weekend. For a movie that was done in such a rush, you wouldn't really know it. The music is excellent and the leads were really great. Top stuff for a short film! (also, look for a cute little nod to Back to the Future, very funny!)

Can't Wait

I haven't seen this movie yet but I've only seen and heard good reviews on it. I can't wait till I get a DVD copy of it, if its showing in another movie film festival I might just fly there to see it. I've seen a few short films before, none that caught my eye like this. I myself have a true "Coulrophobia" so it might be scarier for me. I am very interested on how this film portrays it. There are not many short films that have covered a topic like this and none that I have heard such positive feedback from as this one. I will keep watching the trailer for it until I get a chance to see the whole thing. I CANT WAIT TO SEE IT!
