Storyline

Dee and Dawn are two dim-witted, pink-clad, blond ladies whom meet by accident and try to make a living with their dull lives, until a series of circumstances ensue when after they unwittingly take jobs at a local strip club, they are mistaken for two deadly female brunette assassins known only as the Cat and the Kit whom are hired to kill the club owner whom is a mobster in a witness protection program. With two persistent, but inept, FBI agents on their tail, the ditsy Dee and Dawn try to stay one step head of the law, as well as try to figure out what is really going on. Written by Anonymous

Bland and blander
2 June 2008 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Blonde and Blonder was, simply put, unfunny. Basically, it was a rip-off girl version of Dumb and Dumber, but less funny, and they used too much background noises and music. Way too much background noises and music that were completely unnecessary to rely on laughs, if you ask me. It starts out immensely boring and it does not pick up pace anywhere soon, and I was feeling more frustrated as this nonsense carried on. Of course, I really did not expect a masterpiece from this blind, last minute rent, but it certainly did not give me much of anything else to work with either.

Maybe, the only thing that saved me from giving this movie a 2 was the last 30 minutes. I found it somewhat entertaining and interesting as it neared the end, but that was the only part. Perhaps they got their crap together by the last half? Also, I could not help but like Pamela Anderson and Denise Richard's characters a little, no matter how inane they were and more annoying than cheeky. Even though this movie did not get any laughs from me, it kept my attention for the most part. There are thousands of better films for you to spend your time and money on than Blonde and Blonder, though you probably already expected that. If the idea interests you though, go for it; you might enjoy it more than I did.
