This game is good but suffers. It offers a lot of new features but they threw away some of the old features.Much like Pro Skater 3, they sacrifice length of level design for graphics and detail. However with Pro Skater, they still made the levels fun with a lot of features. But in Underground and American Wasteland, they focused less on detail and focused on making it fun and didn't just focus on intense graphics.Project 8 offers a lot of new things, now you get voice and text messages (text messaging was also tested in Wasteland but it is used more in this version), which is weird but new nonetheless. However, the story mode doesn't work half as well as Underground or Wasteland did.Difficulty is a problem. All Tony Hawk games are simplistic and fun, this game is hard and annoying. I still love Classic Tony Hawks missions more then the random missions in the latest games. However, some of the missions in this game drag on and on and on to the point where you have to write this crap down and the time limits in some of the later levels are impossible.Xbox and Xbox 360 versions look no different from each other, the only difference is loading times, which even the original Xbox is good at. The PS2 suffers with this game because of all the new features, which PS2 can't hold and loading just plain sucks. The PS3 is good, but really nothing separates it from the Xbox and Xbox 360.Overall, a good concept that i hope they use in later games but they need to keep the games fun and not just graphically enhanced.
