Enjoyable show on walking the walk and talking the conservation talk!

I really enjoy watching this show...as a budding enthusiast of finding out about solar power, recycling, hybrid/electric cars, etc., I find this show both fascinating and informative. The small house in Studio City with the antiquated appliances adds to the genuine feel of this show. HOWEVER, why Ed would not have replaced his old, outdated, energy-inefficient appliances with Energy Star* ones is completely beyond me. Its amusing to see him pedal his bike to generate enough electricity to toast bread, yet he probably wastes much more than that by using the age old appliances, especially that stove. Another faux pas in the show was his not using his dishwasher due to his belief that it uses more water than handwashing. In truth, had he done his research, a full load of dishes takes much less water to wash the same amount of dishes.

This show could really be a platform for environmental causes and getting the word out. My only real complaint, if you could call it that, is that his wife on the show, Rachelle, plays way to much to the cameras... she tries to make it appear that it is spontaneous and realistic, when the ham-i-ness (word?) just makes her appear disingenuous, and just makes her look foolish.

You Go Ed...Keep Pedaling!
