I was fortunately able to attend the film's sold out premier at the "Gene Siskel Film Center" in downtown Chicago. Jeffrey Moss' take on the short story by Steven Millhauser is a stunning piece of cinematography, weaving an intelligent story around breath taking visual prowess. The story follows a group of teenage girls who share a big secret in a small town. When one of the girls breaks her silence, the town is turned upside down in a media frenzy, with the locals drawing their own conclusions to what has taken place. Dramatic, moving and playful "The Sisterhood Of Night" is a beautifully filmed piece of American cinema, and the future looks bright for Jeffrey Moss and his unique style of storytelling.
