Season 2, Episode 9: Kaboom and Kabust/The Helmet

Kaboom and Kabust: After Julien interrupts the penguins' mission to destroy classified files with an undisclosed problem, Skipper dispatches Rico to take care of the matter. At the lemur habitat, Julien complains to Rico about a nearby billboard which he finds bothersome, which Rico soon destroys with dynamite. Having been denied the usage of dynamite in the destruction of the files earlier, Rico greatly enjoys his work, even after the other penguins come over to investigate the blast. Julien then desires more things blown up, but when Skipper warns of the consequences of an uncontrolled, wild Rico, Julien and Rico agree not to continue. However, the two soon act to the contrary and engage in a montage of blowing things up. Eventually, dynamite-happy Rico reaches his breaking point due to all the "psychotic pressure" built up inside of him in consequence to his frenzy of creating explosions, and he begins to use his own body as a walking wrecking ball. To protect the zoo from Rico's destruction, the penguins and the lemurs trap Rico underneath Julien's bounce house, which Kowalski believes will serve as an "ideal lunacy absorber." The plan works, and soon Rico falls asleep, tired out by his "48 hours of uncontrolled mayhem."

Season 2, Episode 10: Night and Dazed/The Big Squeeze

The penguins accidentally launch Leonard the koala out of the zoo and into midtown Manhattan. When animals begin disappearing, the penguins suspect Savio, the new boa constrictor.

Told as a courtroom flashback, Kowalski unwisely revives Jiggles in a small, whipped cream-eating version. The little green cubes multiply on impact, however, and are soon threatening to cover the surface of the earth.

Fred stumbles onto a jackpot oak tree which is loaded with acorns. Fred and Julien enter a partnership looking for ways to spend on the good life. The Red Squirrel has designs on the loot though and captures the hapless twosome in order to squeeze the acorns out of them. A special delivery has come from Madagascar. A baby Fossa! Everyone is enchanted by the little tyke except King Julien, who sees him as a lemur-devouring predator, and he has the toothmarks on his butt to prove it!

The Penguin Who Loved Me

After testing out and falling out of his anti-gravity socks, Kowalski is approached by a platypus named Parker, who asks that he come with him. Kowalski asks for a reason and Parker says he needs to say one word. The next scene shows Kowalski grabbing a myriad of items from his lab and leaves in a hurry. Curious, Skipper unveils a monitoring station on their HQ's multi-purpose door (which is the same door to Kowalski's lab) to check the surveillance tapes. After accidentally showing footage of Private doing an impression of Skipper and Rico drinking spoiled milk, they find the footage of Parker and Kowalski, revealing that the platypus said, "Doris", Kowalski's dolphin crush. Skipper declares this to be trouble; Private, slow on the uptake, realizes that Skipper has been spying on them all.
