First of all, I enjoyed Gothic 3 since its release date, even without the community patch, but with the patch, the game has become one of my best ever played. The graphics are not only great, especially for the time of its release, but there is a huge amount of detail put in the world of the game. In Gothic 3, you also have the freedom of choice. You can take quests from different factions and people, and betray them in any order you like. The sidequests require thinking and patience, and most of them are fun to complete. Another important thing to keep in mind is that you're not immortal. In the beginning of the game, the orcs and the different monsters you face, are weak, but you must ALWAYS pay attention to where you go because near you a shadowbeast or a pack of white wolves or even a giant troll can sleep, and you will be in trouble if you don't use a plan to draw them out. The music is among the best I've ever witnessed in a video game, especially in Varant. Also, the music can prove really useful when an enemy enters combat with you. All in all, Gothic 3 is a massive open world rpg, a MUST HAVE for any passionate of the genre or of a memorable game in general.
