Though originally written, shot, and edited in the Winter of 2001, the film was shelved for several years, only to be released in 2005. After its release, the film garnered considerable critical success, playing at several esteemed film festivals around the world, and winning Dave Andrae the award for "Best Experimental Film" at the 8th Annual Boston Underground Film Festival. It has since played at the Northampton Independent Film Festival and Victoria, British Columbia's esteemed Antimatter Underground Film Festival.
