The Switch (2010) Poster

(I) (2010)

After arguing with Kassie, Wally is seen walking in the rain. A truck passes behind him bearing an ad featuring a turkey baster. This is a reference to 'The Baster', the short story on which the film was based.
The play that Kassie and Wally attend is, of course, "Hamlet" by William Shakespeare (as one can tell from the dialogue, if not the costuming).
Wally wears a Rolex GMT Master with a "Pepsi" Bezel throughout the film.
The first Miramax release since the company was sold by the Walt Disney Company to Colony Capital.
Three of the most popular forms of coffee making are shown in this movie. When Kassie is unpacking her things, a drip coffee carafe is being unboxed. Next, at a restaurant when Kassie meets Roland for the first time, there is a French press at their table. Finally, the pour-over method is shown at Leonard's house. A Chemex glass coffee maker is shown in the background.
