After starring in The Switch, Horrible Bosses and Horrible Bosses 2 together, Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston return to the big screen, but this time as rival siblings in Office Christmas Party. Today we have the first trailer and photos from this new comedy, arriving in theaters December 9, which could give people some crazy ideas about their own holiday parties. After watching the footage below, all we can hope for is that any party inspired by this movie doesn't get too out of hand.

In Office Christmas Party, Jennifer Aniston stars as the CEO of a company, who tries to close her hard-partying brother's (Jason Bateman) branch. Christmas is a time for good cheer and family gatherings, but it’s also a time to get drunk and cause crazy shenanigans. Such is the basis for the new wacky comedy “Office Christmas Party,” which boasts a murderer’s row of comedy stars and promises outrageous fun. The film follows CEO Carol Vanstone (Jennifer Aniston) as she tries to close down the branch run by her hard-partying brother Clay (T.J. Miller). In an effort to save their jobs, Clay and his Cto (Jason Bateman) rally their co-workers for an epic office Christmas party in order to impress a potential client, but of course, everything goes awry.

"Horrible Bosses" and "The Switch" co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman will re-team for the upcoming comedy "Significant Other" at Stx Entertainment.

Andrea Seigel penned the script which centers on rising businesswoman (Aniston) in the final stages of being recruited for a major CEO position. Before she gets the job though, her company wants to meet and vet her partner - an unpolished stay-at-home husband (Bateman).

Bateman is reportedly looking direct the film which his Aggregate Films and her Echo Films would produce. The pair are currently working together on the holiday comedy "Office Christmas Party".

DreamWorks Pictures has tapped The Switch and Horrible Bosses stars Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman to star in the upcoming holiday comedy Office Christmas Party, Variety is reporting.

Aniston and Bateman will be joined in the cast by T.J. Miller (Deadpool) and Kate McKinnon (Ghostbusters), while the film is said to “follow a cast of characters who have to contend with an office party gone wrong.”

Office Christmas Party is set to go into production in the spring under directors Will Speck and Josh Gordon (Blades of Glory), and is slated for a North American release on December 9th.

Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman, who shared the big screen in the 2010 comedy The Switch before reuniting in both Horrible Bosses and Horrible Bosses 2, are set to reunite once again with a new comedy project entitled Office Christmas Party. The Hollywood Reporter reveals that T.J. Miller and Kate McKinnon have also signed on to star in unspecified roles. This project has been in development for nearly six years, when it was first set up by The Switch directors Will Speck and Josh Gordon, but now it looks like it's finally moving forward.

Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman to Reunite for ‘Office Christmas Party’

Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman, T.J. Miller and Kate McKinnon will star in “Office Christmas Party,” a holiday comedy from DreamWorks Pictures.

Will Speck and Josh Gordon are directing the film, which follows a cast of characters who have to contend with an office party gone wrong. The pitch was original pitch from producer Guymon Casady.

Scott Stuber and Entertainment 360’s Casady and Daniel Rappaport are producing, while Speck and Gordon are executive producing.

The movie shoots this spring in Atlanta and hits theaters on Dec. 9.

Paramount will distribute the film in the U.S. and select international territories, while Mister Smith Entertainment is overseeing distribution in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

DreamWorks’ partner Reliance will distribute the film in India as Entertainment One handles the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Australia and New Zealand.

Bateman was last seen in “The Gift” opposite Joel Edgerton, who also directed the movie. »
