The Racket Squad only lasted three seasons. This episode is about a con involving insurance policies. I still don't understand why the episode appeared on the Holiday Favorites DVD collection. It's an okay episode. The series didn't impress me very much overall. The acting and writing were okay.

This is an odd episode of "Racket Squad"--and not just because the familiar character actor Allen Jenkins appears in it but because the crime was rather strange.
A guy learns that his wife is expecting a baby. A friend (Jenkins) tells him that he can buy an insurance policy that will pay off when his wife gives birth--with no pre-existing conditions nor prior approval getting in the way with this 'special' policy. This is simply too good to be true. So how can they afford this? Well, the jerks running this plan have no intention to pay off most of the customers--they'll just take the money and run! Can Captain Braddock stop these folks? Overall, this is mildly interesting and nothing more.
